A lot of people see “being Blessed” as Material things. Blessings are not just how big your house is or how new your car is. Blessed go beyond the material, it the breath you took to read this post, it’s that last second that your heartbeat. As humans, we get so spoiled and get so intitled that when things aren’t going our way, we wonder “why God, don’t you love me.” Of course, He love’s you. He permits things to happen to you to teach you something, or it’s freewill playing out. God will not force your obedient, but He will allow your actions to come full circle. Yes, the things you have are gifts from God, but that’s not where it stops. Paul was in prison and wrote of the blessings of God. (Ephesians 1) That person you envy, because of the size of their house, maybe they’re better with money than you or their parent was. Maybe something bad happens to you do to other’s free will. Don’t set your eyes on others, set your sights on Him.
Prayer
If you have a problem, give it to Him. It starts with prayer. Prayer is how you connect with God and build a relationship with Him. You don’t change God with prayer; prayer changes you. God gave us this amazing gift to directly talk with Him, the Creator of the Universe. What do we do with this amazing gift, ” Good, food, good meat, good God lets eat”. We should be spending hours just talking to Him.
Listen to the Word of God
Then it takes listening to what He has to say. You hear what He is saying by reading the Bible. They call the Bible the Word of God because that’s what he is saying. He may come in other ways, but it’s best to compare anything you think is from God to the Bible to verify. (Acts 17:11) (1 Thessalonians 5:21)
Take Action
Then you take action on what he has to say. (James 1:23-25) Take action, don’t sit around and mope and have a pity party. Do what God would have you to do. That action might be as simple as letting go of the situation and forgetting about it, but for some reason, we fail a that too sometimes, probably the most often in fact.
